Maple and Walnut Clad Sitting Room

Part of a full-home architectural wood installation, this light-filled sitting room was thoughtfully redesigned to bring greater balance, warmth, and cohesion to the home’s overall aesthetic. The vaulted ceiling was carefully reframed to refine its pitch and create a more sophisticated architectural presence.

Locally sourced maple was milled, stained, and installed to enrich the ceiling with natural warmth and texture, while the structural beams were meticulously clad in walnut to complement the adjoining spaces throughout the residence. Every detail was crafted with an emphasis on timeless design, natural materials, and heirloom-quality workmanship.
